Hi there, I’m Diana Karolina Mekarski and welcome to my blog, The Darling Josephine. I’m here to help you see the beauty of life revealed. Stay a bit and grow here with us.

I’m a story catcher, professional growth and assessment coach, and writer. My beloved dog and general encourager in life, Josephine, is the queen of the wilderness and forest, taking the name “Josephine of the Trees” during many of her adventures and love of climbing fallen trees. She’s her best and most alive self out in the woods and has taught me to do the same.

Josephine has always been my little darling. Her calm ways and knowing eyes have taught me the need for consistency, structure, time for myself in nature, and the ability to love wholeheartedly. 

My blog features stories, poems, musings, and other writings. These are from my past, present, and many focus on my want for a loving future. My ability to put my writing out in the world have been inspired by Josephine’s love and the peace she brings me. Read on, love hard, even when it’s risky.
